Do you want to add more laughter and joy to your personal, professional and social life?
Try Laughter Yoga which is a scientifically proven method that provides many physiological and emotional benefits for people of all ages and abilities.
Laughter Yoga was uniquely developed by East Indian physician Dr. Madan Kataria. It combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing (Pranayama), delivering more oxygen to the body and brain, making one feel more energetic, healthy and vibrantly alive.
Laughter Yoga is the latest health craze sweeping the world.
- It has been widely covered by media including prestigious publications like
- TIME magazine,
- CNN and
- the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Laughter Yoga is truly a life changing experience for millions. Laughter Yoga is being practiced in companies and corporations, health and fitness centers, yoga studios, medical clinics and hospitals, senior centers, schools, universities, and self-help groups throughout the world.
Laughter Yoga uses simple breathing techniques, fun laughter exercises, eye contact and childlike playfulness to elicit laughter—without relying on humour, jokes or comedy. It is based on the scientific fact that the body cannot tell the difference between fake and real laughter. Thus, active participants can feel the benefits right from the very first session!
A WE² bit about Liliana De Leo:
Liliana De Leo is founder and president of the Living Laughter Center, and has worked in the field of health and wellness since 1998. She is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader, Personal Trainer, and CPR/AED/EPI Pen & First Aid Instructor. She worked as Fitness Program Director for the YMCA from 2002 to 2007. She later opened the Living Laughter Centre in 2008. When she became a Laughter Yoga Leader in 2006, there began her passion and quest for “laughter for no reason”. Her background in stand-up comedy and performing at various comedy clubs between 1998 and 2001 also helped to cultivate that passion. She hopes her workshops will help to inspire people to increase laughter in their everyday lives without relying on jokes, comedy or humour. This is a unique mind/body workshop. This may not change your life circumstances, but it can change how YOU react to them.
