A WE² bit about Heather:
Hello, my name is Heather Boyd. I have been custom making unique aluminum wire jewelry in Montreal for 20 years. My Filament Jewelry can be seen on my website and purchased on-line at Etsy.com. I can create pins, bookmarks and earrings with designs that reflect your organization. I have produced a wide variety of teacher/volunteer appreciation gifts, corporate and fundraising items. You may send me your business card, photos or artwork for inspiration.
My husband and I are currently having success with our unique custom made Tandem Bicycle Wedding Cake Toppers. We have many other designs available.
I also offer creative workshops in schools and libraries for adults and children. I animate children’s birthday parties with craft and jewelry making. Many of my workshop projects can be seen on my website. I can also create craft projects based on your own themes and ideas.
I am currently creating a line of sterling silver and semi-precious stone jewelry and original mixed-media art cards available exclusively at the Viva Vida Art Gallery in the Pointe Claire Village.
Testimonials for Heather:
“Heather is a true artist. She embraces life and lives art. This zest for living is both reflected in her amazing artwork, and in how she passes on this passion through her teaching. Heather is not only a professional artist , she is a dedicated teacher who enriches the lives of all those who are lucky enough to know her – as an artist, a colleague, a teacher and a friend.”
– Nedia El Khouri, owner, Viva Vida Art Gallery
She takes an idea you have for anything and just makes it. It’s like it comes right out of your head. It is mind boggling how much talent Heather has. I love to work with her and I love coming up with designs with her and you would as well. She is Amazing!”
– feedback from customer at Etsy.com
“The creative passion of Heather Boyd is truly contagious. Years before the rest of the world decided to ‘go green’, Heather has always respected the environment by using minimal new resources. Heather can see an art project in everything from empty pop bottles to discarded t-shirts and jeans.”
– Allison Lyne, Community Worker
“One of Heather’s main strengths in her work is her ongoing exploration of mediums and techniques. She is always trying new and different methods in both art and craft. Heather is an inspiration to her friends and fellow artists.”
